WHAT RECOVERYING AT HOME COULD LOOK LIKE

A little extra help after surgery

After a knee replacement, David was pleased to be back home but was still using crutches and needed some extra help with everyday routines while he recovered.

A caregiver visited in the morning to prepare breakfast, support David with his medication, help with showering and dressing, and take care of a few things around the house before he settled in for the day.

Later, a companion came by to prepare lunch, do the laundry and help with shopping or other household tasks. They could also drive David to follow-up appointments when needed.

In the evening, a caregiver returned to prepare dinner, support him with his evening medication and help him get ready for bed.

As David became stronger and more independent, his support gradually reduced to match his changing needs.

Haven care provided friendly efficient care for me while recovering from a hip replacement. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would use them in the future if need be.
